One thing I love about the 21 Day Fix is that you really do get to choose from a huge list of foods. As long as they’re whole and clean (and not super fatty or salty), they are likely on the approved foods list.

But that doesn’t mean you can just go crazy…you still have to track what you’re eating, and unfortunately that applies to carbs, too. Even beans and peas. And to be honest, I just don’t want to waste all my yellow (carb) containers on beans and peas! But I love me some split pea soup.

This 21 Day Fix Instant Pot Split Pea Soup doubles up on veggies and cuts back on the peas – you still get your pea soup taste and texture, but the bulk of this soup comes from veggies. And you can make it in the Instant Pot! {If you don’t have an Instant Pot yet, what are you waiting for? Here are some tips on choosing the right size.}

This freezes really well, too!

The 21 Day Fix program is always changing, and while I do my very best and never want to mess up (perfectionist, yo) please always double check the container counts yourself. Sometimes/usally it’s late at night when I write these posts.
